Wood pergolas in Northeast Florida rot, twist, and demand repainting on a schedule. Ours are extruded aluminum — engineered for coastal wind, finished to shrug off salt air and UV, and essentially maintenance-free. You get the architecture without the upkeep.
Designed into your outdoor space
A pergola can stand alone over a paver patio, anchor an outdoor kitchen area, or tie into an existing enclosure. We design it with the rest of your backyard in mind and build it with the same engineering, fasteners, and warranty as everything else we install.
Add a polycarbonate roof and use it in the rain
An open pergola gives you dappled shade; a polycarbonate roof gives you a space you can actually sit under during a Florida afternoon downpour. The panels are 8mm four-wall multiwall polycarbonate in a leakproof standing-seam profile — translucent, so covering the pergola doesn't turn the patio (or the rooms behind it) dark, and tested to withstand winds up to 139 mph under NOA #24-0611.05.
We fit these roof systems to new pergolas and retrofit them to existing ones. Panels come in a range of tints — some fully transparent, others tinted or opaque and running as much as 20 degrees cooler underneath — so you decide how much light you keep. They need a slight slope to drain and stay leakproof, which we design in or add to your existing structure.
Same extruded aluminum framing, same coastal engineering, same 410 stainless hardware holding the structure together — the roof is an option, not a different pergola.
